Application No: B1-2025           Applicants: Christine Couvillon and Martin Orto

TAKE NOTICE that an application to the Committee of Adjustment for the Township of Plummer Additional has been submitted for provisional consents to sever one lot into four parcels, pursuant to section 53 of the Planning Act, c.P.13, R.S.O. 1990, as amended, for lands being legally described as PLAN 178 CON 4 LOT 5 NPT, Roll # 5719-000-004-07600.

The purpose of the application is to sever the property located at 247 Centre Line Road in the Township of Plummer Additional. The proposed severance will divide the existing property of approximately 80 acres into four parcels: the retained parcel ~60 acres in size, one severed/created lot ~10 acres in size, and  two severed/created lots each  ~5 acres in size. A location map and severance sketch are enclosed (“Key Map”).

The Committee of Adjustment for the Township of Plummer Additional has appointed Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Municipal Office, 38 Railway Crescent, Bruce Mines, Ontario, for the purpose of a Public Hearing in this matter. The purpose of this meeting is to ensure that sufficient information is made available to enable the public to generally understand the applicants’ proposed Consents.

Any person may make a submission in support of, in opposition to, or ask a question regarding the proposed Consents. Written submissions are recommended and can be made to the Committee of Adjustment by email, regular post or delivered to the Municipal Office. Please ensure all written submissions include your name, address and the application numbers, B1-2025.

If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Committee of Adjustment in respect of the proposed application, you must make a written request to the Township of Plummer Additional Committee of Adjustment by email, regular post or in person at the Municipal Building.

If a specified person or public body that files an appeal of a decision of the Committee of Adjustment for the Township of Plummer Additional in respect of the proposed consent does not make written submission to the Committee of Adjustment for the Township of Plummer Additional before it gives or refuses to give a provisional consent, the Ontario Land Tribunal may dismiss the appeal.
