The Trefry Centre is offering people 65+, living alone, the opportunity to receive a friendly morning wake-up phone call and wellness check to start their day.

VOLUNTEER DRIVERS URGENTLY NEEDED IN BRUCE MINES AREA

Volunteer drivers are needed in the Bruce Mines area to drive individuals in the area to appointments or scheduled outings. 

Monthly reimbursement @ .72/km

FIRE BURN BAN NOTICE:

A Fire Ban has been enacted for the Municipality of Bruce Mines and Plummer Additional effective June 3rd, 2026 at 7:03 p.m.  The Fire Ban is in effect until further notice.

NO open air burning is permitted, including fireworks.
