The Dr. H. S. Trefry Memorial Centre serves residents in Plummer Additional Township (as far as Centre Line Road) and other communities in the surrounding area with transportation services to medical appointments, meals on wheels, day out programs for social and respite services and exercise classes.

The Algoma District Services Administration Board provide social and paramedic services to the communities in the Algoma area.  Funding to the ADSAB is provided by the province and member municipalities.

Employment Solutions:  Employment Assistance Services

Employment Solutions is offering free services to assist residents looking to find employment.  These services are available at the BMPA Union Public Library on Thursdays bi-weekly from 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Walk-ins are welcome, but it is best to confirm an appointment by calling 705-356-1611.
