Please be advised that under By-Law 2026-05 Being a By-Law for the Adoption of a Policy to Govern the Collection of Property Tax for the Township of Plummer Additional, the following amendment under Section 7 – Collection Procedures, subsection “Tax Sales” was passed on January 21, 2026:
The procedure to prepare and register a tax arrears certificate against the title to that land within the Muncipality where any part of tax arrears is owing may now take place after TWO years of arrears have accumulated.
By-Law No. 2026-05 amends By-Law No. 2024-05.
This policy is effective immediately, but will be enforced as of January 1, 2027.
