NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

TOWNSHIP OF PLUMMER ADDITIONAL

CONCERNING PROPOSED OFFICIAL PLAN AND ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENTS

Pursuant to Sections 17, 21 and 24 of the Planning Act, the Township of Plummer Additional has initiated an amendment to its Official Plan to include Additional Dwelling Unit (ADU) policies.

TAKE NOTICE a Public Meeting will be held on:

Wednesday, May 20^th , 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Council Chambers at the Municipal Office

Attendance via virtual zoom meeting process is available upon request. The meeting will consider the recommendations made by Tulloch Planning in the attached Memorandum and draft By-law.

IF you wish to be notified of the decision of the proposed Official Plan amendments by the Township of Plummer Additional, you must make a written request for such notice to the Clerk, at the address below.

IF a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Township of Plummer Additional to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Township of Plummer Additional before the proposed Official Plan amendment is adopted, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.

IF a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Township of Plummer Additional before the Official Plan amendment is adopted, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
